360days is actually my second movie. I did another film
in 2005 called BrisVegas. My brother gave me a voucher for $1000 worth
of camera hire for Christmas to produce it. He won an award for a film
he'd done and was nice enough to give the prize to me. He has been a
great source of guidance and recently won an ARIA.
So over 4 weekends I hooked up with all the BrisVegas riders to do some
filming. It was awesome fun and the final DVD had 27 riders in it and
ran for about 20 mins. We only printed 60 copies for the riders in it,
as it was a non-commercial DVD, hence a free shot at whatever music
you like. I would have loved to have printed more copies but it was
non-profit.
The movie was well received by the people that watched it. There were
riders of all levels just busting out 180s all the way up to 7's and
Mobes. I had a lot of people say they actually liked it because there
were riders just better than them and this inspired them to ride. So
with no further ado, here is the star of BrisVegas Daniel Pyne.
Check it out here.
If you are viewing from Australia check it out on wake.com.au.
Now with the camera hire resources depleted I set out to buy a new camera.
What a task ... so many options. I decided on the Panasonic NV-GS400,
which is 3-chip. This camera is sick and you can see it on the home
page. Equipped with this camera, a new water housing and many fellow
riders to hang with, I began a year to remember.
Peace Ebo
